Description: The Telos 7 NextGen integrated amplifier is one of the most spectacular integrated amplifiers currently available from the Goldmund stereo power amplifier collection. It can drive any passive high-end stereo system with absolute ease, delivering the highest levels of energy and a truly spacious, clear, and detailed sound image. The loudspeakers are controlled in two ways: by providing them with sufficient power to produce high-quality, undistorted sound; and by better controlling the drivers, preventing interference. This is especially true at low frequencies, where the range of motion is greater, increasing the likelihood of unwanted sounds that affect signal purity. Telos® amplification technology significantly reduces intermodulation by improving the linearity of all stages and significantly reducing time jitter. Based on the Leonardo® research program, Telos® utilizes a higher-bandwidth circuit with minimal group delay distortion within the audio band. The Telos® amplifier's input circuitry incorporates the latest version of the Alize digital-to-analog converter circuitry for better coupling with the versatile Goldmund preamplifiers. Separate input and output stages prevent feedback between the high- and low-current circuits and improve Mechanical Grounding™. One of the most significant sonic improvements provided by the latest Telos circuitry is its "driver control." Achieved by dramatically lowering the amplifier's output impedance, it provides significantly improved microdynamics and helps large woofers deliver beautiful, full-bodied bass. Telos® amplifies the audio signal with unparalleled purity and transparency at any volume, without distortion. Phase distortion alters the realism of sound, affecting the size and depth of the soundstage, the ability to perfectly identify the location of various objects, bass tightness, and other parameters. By working on transients, this distortion also modifies the timbre of the sound source. Leonardo® Time Correction suppresses most of these sound variations by digitally adjusting the signal's frequency over time. Improvements in the power and efficiency of the DSP allowed Leonardo to apply corrections across an even wider bandwidth, resulting in the Leonardo 2. The latest version of Leonardo 2 is now implemented in every speaker in the current Goldmund collection. This implementation allows the listener to fully focus on the sound, rather than wasting energy on the correction process. Craftsmanship is a vital element of Goldmund's DNA. But before our craftsmen can begin their work, there's one step that sets Goldmund sound systems apart from other hi-fi systems: the sourcing and selection of materials. The choice of materials we use is not random. We use only the best. They improve the overall performance of our products and enhance their aesthetics and refinement. The satin silver Goldmund finish is a glossy interpretation of aluminum. Its platinum-like surface is the result of impact treatment and microbead anodizing. This special alloy is used in military mechanics for its extreme durability. Aluminum contributes to the product's robust construction, further minimizing distortion. Quality control checks every millimeter of the aluminum used, ensuring geometric perfection and ensuring that microscopic flaws are not overlooked. After the product is assembled, the material undergoes a gentle cleaning before it is deemed flawless.
